Unlike conventional 24-inch monitors, which feature a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, the two new 27-inch ColorEdge monitors feature a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels – this represents over 60% more pixels and provides noticeably more space on your desktop.
The ColorEdge CS2730 with adjustable hardware provides everything you need to professionally process your visual content. The fully equipped ColorEdge CG2730 meets the needs of the most sophisticated users with its built in calibration sensor, True Black panel, and light protection shield (included in the delivery).
Both the CS2730 and the CG2730 use wide gamut LCD panels (IPS technology) with an aspect ratio of 16:9, which covers 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space.
Both ColorEdge monitors use a 16bit look-up-table (LUT) to achieve maximum colour accuracy and depth, as well as to avoid display errors such as banding and tonal breaks.
Every single EIZO ColorEdge is precisely calibrated in the factory. The gamma curve is precalibrated on each device. The homogeneity and colour purity of each individual panel is measured and adjusted in the factory in order to ensure an absolutely undistorted image display.
Both new monitors possess a slimmer new casing. The edge of the casing is approximately 46% thinner in comparison to that of its predecessors, the depth around 30% less. The illuminated, electrostatic sensor buttons are another new feature. These allow you to always operate the monitor’s functions reliably, even in dark environments.
Both ColorEdge monitors feature DVI-D, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs. The monitors also have a USB 3 hub with three downstream and two upstream ports. The EIZO ColorNavigator calibration software is included in the delivery. The CG2730 comes with a light protection shield, which is available as an optional extra for the CS2730.
CG2730 with the ultimate features
The CG2730 features an integrated calibration sensor for especially precise colour control. This is precisely calibrated on each individual screen and enables exact calibration and profiling. It facilitates automatic calibration. This saves users lots of time by allowing them to simply leave the calibration to the monitor. The CG2730 is compatible with ColorNavigator NX and Network software, and can thus be easily integrated into larger colour management workflows.
This way, differentiating between even the finest colour nuances meets the high requirements of professional users in softproofing and image processing. By covering 98 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, the CG2730 also meets high standards in colour grading. The True Black LCD panel of the CG2730 guarantees an excellent contrast ratio and deep colour tones, even in dim lighting and at a slanted viewing angle.
